Why hire a Hat?
Every woman knows that a Hat adds the finishing touch to that special outfit and makes any occasion into an “event”. Hats can be cute, coquettish, flamboyant, elegant, and glamorous they can - and usually are - very expensive! and after their one “glorious” moment they languish, forgotten in a box on top of the wardrobe – or worse, under the bed! So, when you need a hat for that special occasion and you want the quality and style that a top designer provides, it makes perfect sense to HIRE one and spend the money you save on something else!
How do I hire a hat?
To hire a hat, you will require a consultation (under no obligation) to make sure that your outfit and hat co-ordinate perfectly. The consultation enables you to put on your outfit and choose the right hat which will add that all important finishing touch, that “crowning glory” and the hat you feel comfortable (and beautiful) in. Nothing is left to “chance” or “hope” that you will look good on the day of the event because you will have seen exactly how perfectly your ensemble comes together.

Why do I have to come for a consultation – why can’t you come to me?
In order for the colour match or blend to be absolutely right, consultations are best done in full daylight as this is usually when the ensemble will be worn therefore coming to HATS for your consultation not only allows you to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the beautiful conservatory/studio where the light is just perfect for colour matching, it also provides you with the opportunity to try various shapes and colours from the extensive range of hats available, which you may not originally have thought would work with your outfit – less obvious choices which we, at HATS have the vision to see will add a sense of style and panache!
What about accessories?
Hats also has jewellery and handbags which are also available for hire. It is truly amazing how the right piece of jewellery can enhance an outfit and create a different emphasis on colour and/or style.
Can I get advice about my total look?
Caroline, senior consultant at HATS, has a great deal of experience in the use of colour and has trained in hairdressing and the art of make up and is happy to advise on this to make sure that on your special occasion you look and feel absolutely wonderful.
